Find your Leisure
At the start of summer I headed up the mountain for a Manifest Retreat hosted by Leisure expert Rachel Mae Furman. It was such a treat to get out of the city and be lake side at a campsite near Idyllwild CA, a favorite of mine. It was such a great mix of styled eye candy and picturesque surroundings. Amber Seagraves from Lasso Abode styled out the Little White Camper with her beautiful home goods; fridge pillows and bags.
During the retreat we were asked to explore how you wanted your summer to pan out - something to do solo, with your bestie/partner and with a group of people. In relfection all of my activities came from creating things; photo shoots, tiki drinks... etc. It lead me to take a ceramics class that I had been thinking about for years and finally pulled the trigger. It has become a main staple of my daily life now (more soon!) and really challanged my creatlvity.
Having an amazing camper also was a great excuse to practice my photography skills. It is something I've been working on (see more here) and am really loving giving a different perspepevtive on how I see the world around me. The collaborative nature of all these creatives is what I really took away from this weekend. Everyone is hustling so why not all work together to create something amazing.
